Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
We want our policy to be simple and fair. This page explains how payment works, what happens if a lesson needs to be cancelled and how refunds are made. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. How payment works
Lessons are invoiced monthly in advance. Each invoice covers the lessons booked for that month, and payment is due [before the first lesson of the month].
2. If you need to cancel a lesson
- 48 hours' notice or more: you won't be charged. We'll rearrange the lesson or credit it to your next invoice.
- Less than 48 hours' notice, or a missed lesson: the lesson is charged in full, because your tutor has kept that time free for you.
To cancel, email register@educad.uk or contact your tutor directly. In exceptional circumstances, such as illness or a family emergency, please get in touch and we'll do our best to help.
3. If we need to cancel a lesson
If your tutor can't make a lesson, we'll tell you as soon as possible and offer another time. If the new time doesn't suit you, we'll credit or refund that lesson in full.
4. Stopping lessons
There's no long-term contract or minimum term. You can stop lessons at any time by letting us know by email. Any lessons you've already paid for that are more than 48 hours after you tell us will be refunded.
5. Your 14-day right to cancel
When you first agree to lessons with us, you have 14 days to change your mind and cancel without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start lessons within those 14 days and then cancel, you'll only pay for the lessons that have already taken place.
6. How refunds are paid
We'll refund you within 14 days, using the same method you paid with unless we agree otherwise. If a discount applied to your lessons, the refund is based on the discounted price you paid.
7. Questions
If you have a question about a payment or refund, email register@educad.uk.
